A direct cremation is a service we offer for the deceased who do not wish to have anyone present at their cremation. On the day of the service, we take the deceased to the crematorium, place them in the crematorium chapel, and then depart because no one will be able to attend. Every aspect of the day will be done with the utmost care by us. In addition, if appropriate, mourners can view or sit with the deceased at our own Chapel of Rest, but not attend the committal.
